Miriam has always had a passion for special events. It started when she was a child in her parents’ restaurant. Every month they would have a special event and Miriam was happy to be put to work: setting up, decorating, and serving the guests. 

It progressed from there. Miriam became the manager of a coffee shop that also had special events. She realized quickly that the special events were what she most enjoyed about the job.

After years of working in the catering industry, she was hired as a wedding coordinator with Event Z Planning. She loved working alongside one of the best-voted wedding planners and coordinators for six years. When EventZ relocated to Chicago, Miriam decided to start her own company: Pinsky’s Planning! 

Miriam really enjoys getting to know each couple and every individual, and believes not only is it important to organize every detail, but to also have a good time doing it! She treats each wedding and event as if it is her own, and will go above and beyond to make sure your special day is stress-free.
